My 2024 Annual Review

This is the first time I am doing this type of post. And wrap around what went well and what didn’t.

Let’s start with writing.

In my blog, www.rohanbhardwaj.com, I wrote around 22 articles with an average of 500 words. And my subscribers are 32, and I got 9 likes in the WordPress community. In total, I got 1300+ views on these articles.

On Medium, I started writing in August 2024 and have written many articles of various word counts. Of course, the topics are something I usually won’t cover in my personal blog. And it flexes my writing. It averages around 200 views and a few dollars per month in earnings. But those earnings are offset by Medium membership, which is a few dollars mandatory.

My goal for the next year would be to write at least 50+ articles and increase my viewership to 10000+. Also, I hope to start earning from my personal blog. I would aim to earn at least $1000 per month on the medium front on the medium front. Let’s see how it goes.

On YouTube

1. I have halted my dance channel and will work on revamping it. My main focus is to improve and win dance battles offline, and I am less focused on growing a dance channel. Currently, it has 1600 subscribers and averages 5000 views per month. But considering the videos are copyright claims because of music, earning money is difficult even if I get monetised.

2. I have my education channel, and I will continue uploading videos to them. Currently, it gets 100 monthly views, and I have 85 subscribers. I aim to get it past 1000 subscribers and 10000 monthly views by the end of next year.

3. I have started a new channel, which is sort of an experiment. As of now it  gets 300 monthly views and has 12 subscribers. I hope to get this channel exploded to a million subscribers or more. Fingers crossed.

Podcast

I started a new podcast and will upload it on YouTube and share the transcript. I hope to break into 10000 downloads for my podcast. As of now, it’s around 10.

Books

I have written quite a few books and now I want to write books again and again. Maybe a new book and some experiments. Fingers crossed.

This is the first time I have done this. Let’s keep doing this and check on the progress next year. See you then.
