Most of the people work in the 9 to 5 job scenario where they get up every day, try their best to look and then pretend to like their job. So that they can clock in those hours and collect a paycheck at end of the month.

The remaining people fall in the category of doing a 9 to 5 job which they love and people who do their own business thing.

If you are struggling to find joy in your current job then there are some things you can do about it. First is to take responsibilities and task which you enjoy doing so that your heart can be in peace. Second is to continuously look for another job opportunity. Once you find one, make sure you have the skills required to get that and then apply.

Keep updating your skills and keep applying as hard as you can. Sooner or later you will find yourself a job which is better than your current job.

I am a firm believer in passion project. It is something you believe in and what to bring out in life. And you don’t have to wait till you get a dream job. You can start now – working on weekends.

A few hours can do the trick. The idea is to invest your time in something you love doing. It can be writing a book, coding an app or gardening. Whatever it is that you want to invest your time in and bring out a finished product at the end of it – is a project.

And the best part is – you aren’t doing it for money. You are doing it because you love it and there is something you want to change or convey to the world.

If it succeeds then fine that calls for a party. And if it fails then fine it calls for a small party. Whatever the outcome, you keep moving and there comes a new project. The idea is to keep doing projects. So that it will be a source of your joy and something which you firmly believe in.

You have to note that if money is something you are striving for then you should look for a job first and improve over there – whether you like it or not.

Business and or project are risky things and you have to use your judgment over here. Don’t invest your life’s saving for it.

So there is literally no excuse for you to not do a project of something which you want. If it doesn’t break your money, then go for it. Because time is limited and it will fly by whether you do your part or no.
